Catskills
When our clients found their dream property in the Catskills—a five-acre parcel with a charming cottage and a unique structure formerly used as a preschool—they knew they had a special project on their hands. Our goal was to turn the school, affectionately known as the "Octagon," into a stunning family home for five, all while celebrating its distinctive architecture and breathtaking views.
Teaming up with KWS Architecture, we embraced the building’s history and design, converting it into a functional and beautiful space that blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings. From the kitchen and dining area, to the living room and primary suite, every detail was crafted to honor the Octagon’s unique character while meeting the family’s needs. The result is a harmonious blend of history, functionality, and design—showcasing what happens when vision, collaboration, and creativity come together. This project, which earned a spot in the NY Times, Dwell, and the Magnolia Network is a testament to the magic of transforming unconventional spaces into dream homes.
